This is only the beginning. Once we’re settled, we plan to expand by adding a second floor to our nursery, creating a dedicated preschool space for children aged 3–4 years.

Opening January 2026, Little Lambs Nursery is a brand-new childcare setting based at Farrington’s Farm. We are dedicated to creating a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where babies aged 0–3 years can explore, grow, and thrive.
Our nursery offers the best of both worlds: a warm, purpose-designed Baby Room tailored to the needs of our youngest children, and the unique surroundings of a working farm - complete with wide open fields, fresh country air, and even cows grazing just outside.
Our Ethos
At Little Lambs Nursery, we believe in fostering a nurturing and loving environment where children can grow and thrive. Our ethos is built around three core principles:
Outdoor Play: We prioritise outdoor play, understanding that nature offers a unique and essential environment for learning and development. Our expansive and well-equipped outdoor spaces encourage children to explore, imagine, and engage with the natural world, promoting physical health and a sense of adventure. We will strive to do this in all weather conditions, subject to a risk assessment and only when safe to do so.
Sustainability: We are committed to teaching children the importance of sustainability. Through hands-on activities, such as gardening, recycling projects, and environmental education, we instil a respect for our planet and the knowledge that even the smallest actions can make a significant difference.
Nurture: Every child at Little Lambs is valued and cherished. We provide a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment where individual needs are recognized and met. Our dedicated staff are tasked with building strong and caring relationships with each child, promoting their emotional and social well-being from 0-5 years.
