Little Lambs Nursery is a nurturing, farm-based nursery in Farrington Gurney, dedicated to providing the very best start for children aged 0-3.
Rooted in nature and surrounded by wide open fields and fresh countryside air, our purpose-designed nursery offers a safe, stimulating and homely environment where children feel happy, confident and valued.

Our Story
Little Lambs Nursery was created from a belief that childhood should feel slower, richer and more connected to the world around us. Our directors wanted more for their own children than busy routines and time spent indoors. They imagined a place where children could explore freely, spend their days outdoors, build meaningful relationships and develop confidence through real experiences.
What began as a personal vision became Little Lambs Nursery - a family-run setting built on warmth, nurture and a genuine passion for giving children the very best start in life. Set within the countryside and surrounded by nature, our nursery is designed to feel like an extension of home; somewhere every child is known as an individual, celebrated for who they are, and supported to become curious, kind and confident learners.
At Little Lambs, we believe childhood should be filled with fresh air, muddy boots, imagination, friendship and opportunities to discover the world around us. These values continue to shape everything we do.
Our Vision
Little Lambs has always been about more than opening a nursery. Our vision is to create exceptional early years environments where children thrive through outdoor learning, meaningful experiences and strong relationships.
As we grow, we remain committed to investing in our environment, our team and the opportunities available to children and families. Future plans include the development of our second floor into a dedicated preschool space, creating even more room for exploration, independence and preparation for school and beyond.

Our dedicated team are at the heart of Little Lambs, creating nurturing relationships that help every child feel safe, valued and inspired to grow, learn and thrive. All staff are recruited in line with Ofsted requirements and safer recruitment best practice, giving families confidence that children are cared for by trusted professionals.
